I purchased and have enjoyed all the benefits of living on Rabbit Lake and in the Crosby area for almost twenty-years. In 2011, at the age of 65, after six-years of retirement, I started writing my first book, The Mystery of Eagle Falls. Since I started my writing adventure while living on Rabbit Lake, it seems only fitting that I refer to myself as, the “Rabbit Lake Author.”

For those who don't know, Rabbit Lake is located 20 miles northeast of Brainerd, MN in Crow Wing County or approximately 1,847 miles north of Fort Myers Beach, FL where I go to visit my sister during our Minnesota winters. Rabbit Lake is a 1,200-acre lake, with water clarity of 18 ft. and a 337-foot-deep hole from mining activities in the 1950s-1960s. (This basin was re-filled with water in the 1960s.) Rabbit Lake has great Walleye, Northern Pike, Black Crappie and Largemouth Bass fishing.

For some time now, I have wanted my books to be grouped together in an online format and easily accessible to family, friends, and book enthusiasts. That desire has led me to the development of this website.
